At Diverse & Engaged our DEI work and is about a plan for a better future for historically underrepresented groups, marginalized and other diverse dimensions. In alignment with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) plan to create a better and more sustainable future for all we are happy to join the urgent call to go beyond addressing inequalities as a core business competency but also address climate change in the way we go about our work.

At Diverse & Engaged, we are committed to doing our part; the only measure of commitment is action. We do this by:

  1. tracking and reducing single use

  2. monitoring and reducing energy and water use

  3. offsetting our carbon footprint with a seed down for every wheelsup

  4. donating a portion of profits to historically underrepresented groups

At Diverse & Engaged, we are on a journey to leave the planet better than we found it by supporting global reforestation. As an official partner of One Tree Planted, a non-profit environmental charity we chose to plant trees as a way for us to offset our carbon footprint impact. Since we travel quite a bit whenever we are “wheels up”, we sow a seed in the form of planting a tree in Africa to help to support reforestation and

  • Provide jobs to minimize poverty in local communities

  • Improve climate change resilience & mitigation

  • Restore forest cover to improve food security

We invite you to join us by donating to AFR100. Reforestation and land restoration helps to benefit all 17 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Planting trees is a unique opportunity to align your company’s SDG-related targets with reforestation projects of your choosing. Click here to support our campaign to plant 10k trees by December 31, 2022.

At Diverse & Engaged, we are going NETZero. We monitor our carbon footprint and identify offsets to reduce the amount of carbon emissions and greenhouse gases we contribute to the earth. Our contributions fund the reduction of methane gas leaks from landfills and forestry projects.

Our DEI work currently spans Europe, Asia, and the Americas; however, following our CEO’s recent journey to Africa, visiting Senegal and The Gambia for a meeting with that nation’s U.S. Ambassador, we are committed to laying an anchor there as well. It is our commitment to give back to the developing country through the support of tourism, establishing a Leadership Institute on cultural competence, women’s empowerment, and gender equality.
